What exactly does it mean to be a DSP?

CORE

Clients Come First

The cornerstone value of Reside Residential Care.  Our other values all stem from a client first mentality.  Only when we put our clients first can we truly enhance their lives in the ways they deserve to be.  A DSP puts their clients first.

VALUES

Caring With Compassion

Understanding the feelings of others helps keep our feet on the ground and relate to the people we serve.  Showing kindness comes in many forms and can be difficult at times, but is always necessary.  DSPs must care with compassion.

Act With Integrity

Being honest and practicing good morals represents the bread and butter of a DSP.  Without these qualities, a DSP cannot function with the client’s trust or as a mandatory reporter.  A good DSP acts with integrity.

Promote Independence

Our residents desire an independent life, much like most anyone.  Encouraging and promoting our residents with their independence, along with showing compassion and practicing integrity is how we put our clients first.
